in our disclaimer.
The Ronco Cove cache is most approachable by water craft. For those
unfamiliar with Moosehead Lake PLEASE respect the potential rough
water. I have experienced 4 to 5 foot waves in the waters adjacent
to the cache. In the small 2 pint container you will find a
makeshift logbook, pencil, a dollar (if someone would bring a small
notebook and take the dollar I would appreciate it), fire starters,
a special stone, driftwood, a pewter acorn, and a pinecone.
Obviously this was a spur of the moment endeavor… This is one of
the most beautiful beaches anywhere in the Maine Woods. IF THIS
CACHE IS VISITED IN WINTER PLEASE BE AWARE OF POTENTIALLY VERY BAD
ICE AND OPEN WATER IN THE NARROWS (STEVEN'S POINT TO THE MAINLAND
TO THE WEST)!
