Geocache Description:

This cache is located at Spruce Knob Lake. With an elevation around 3840' it is the highest lake in WV. I'm giving this cache a 2 difficulty because of the location. There are several ways in, but they are all around 20 miles of gravel road. You're on your own as for getting in there. A map of the National Forest will help.

The cache is in a waterproof yellow container. It shouldn't be hard to find if you found the lake. The cache originally contained a golfball, horseshoe puzzle, tape measure, slice of a geode, compass, knife, poncho, matchbox car, lures, cache in trash out bag, and a map. While you are here, you may want to fish in the lake or the many trout streams. You may also want to check out the other nearby caches. I hit the three that were close while I was there.
