Eureka! What an awesome location. Being a transplant to NC I had not visited this location before and was so glad there was a Virtual cache located on this awesome spot. I visited with Night-Hawk and Lilmaxhikenbike and we had an incredible day that was started off by this cache. And yes, we found snow on top!

It has been many years since I last visited this location. Thanks for bringing me back again. I had printed out and loaded my Palm with the cache information months ago. I will furnished the log question answers to the old cache log.

I found this cache on day 1 of a 2 day caching trip with lilmaxhikenbike and Night-Ranger. We did some long hikes and some quick PnG's & we mixed things up enough so that we had a lot of fun in between. This was one of our targets for the day and it was a near perfect day for this type of cache. The temperature was in the low 60s and the visibility was FOREVER... The cache description and requirements really confused us but we found what we needed and gathered the info. We must have had our compass upside down. TFTC TNLNSL

PS... I understand that there is a new structure here as of 2009. Maybe that is why we were confused.
