Several of the pocket parks along the river are described in the following URL (visit link)

LA River Bikeway (series)

We have been riding along the LA River bikeway for many years and thought that it would be good to plant some caches to encourage others to discover the trail and the many small pocket parks along the route. The best way to experience the trail is on a bicycle, but we have placed all caches so that they can be retrieved by people using other forms of transportation as well. The best place to access the bikeway is from Griffith Park. There is plenty of parking in the park and bike lanes along most of its roads. The LA river bikeway begins at the point where Victory Blvd crosses the river near 34 09.35 N and 118 17.633 W. There is no vehicular parking at that location, so you will have to ride along the park roads to that point. Be careful riding in that area since there are also relatively active freeway on and off ramps at that spot. The bikeway can also be accessed from the vicinity of the soccer fields near the cache coordinates. Enjoy the ride, remember to wear a helmet and watch for bumps and dips in the bikeway caused by roots and drainage channels.

We have placed several caches along the route and expect to add more as several pocket parks are completed along the route. The complete list from North to South is as follows:
Pipe Dreams
Sunnynook Nexus
Crystal Street
Elysian Valley Gateway Park
Oso Park
End of the Line
