Geocache Description:

This is the third in a series of six caches that even the youngest cachers will enjoy. Each cache includes two parts, a cache and a clue or clues. The clues can be found on the playground or in the immediate vicinity. The cache will be at the coordinates listed above and be within walking distance of the playground. Once you have collected the clues from the six caches, you will be ready to tackle Playground Madness - The Finale!

Please exercise caution. Watch for poisonous snakes and plants when retrieving this, or any other wilderness cache!

The cache:

This cache about .7 miles Northeast of the playground and not too far from a golf course and country club. If starting from the park, beware that the park is almost fully enclosed by a fence and the trail is not directly accessible from the park.

The original contents of the container were:

  • Princess jewelry
  • Computer microphone
  • Cloth butterfly
  • Bookmark
  • Basketball telescope
  • Koosh Minnie Mouse
  • Scissors

The playground:

The playground is at Arbolado Park, located a short distance from the cache site. Find the waypoint below.

This park is right on the Ygnacio Canal trail and also adjoins an open space. There are two playground areas, one for small children and one for bigger children. The playground is typical of the city parks in the area. The park also has tennis courts, basketball courts, and a soccer field.

The clues:

F. Which tennis court rule states "No food or drink on courts"?

G. How many basketball hoops are there at this park?

H. There are three different types of swings in the playground. How many total swings are there? (The one tire swing has been removed; include this in your count)

A special thanks to ‘Mom and I.’ for creating the Playground Madness Series in 2002. Due to time constraints, the series has recently been adopted by ‘HanSohn’.
