Tentacle Tree Traditional Cache

You are looking for a plastic Lock-and-Lock container. There is room for SMALL trackables and trading items. The log sheets utilize Rite-In-The-Rain paper, which can survive a bit of moisture. However, I suggest that you carry a ballpoint pen to ensure that you can sign properly. After you have signed the log, please replace it in the plastic bag, make sure that the lid is tightly snapped shut, and hide the container with natural camo as you found it. Many muggles pass this location on a daily basis, so please do not leave it visible!

Although I did my best to ensure the accuracy of these coordinates, you may experience some drift due to tree cover. Refer to the hint if necessary. There is no need to take more than a few steps off the trail to retrieve the container. NO BUSHWHACKING IS REQUIRED!

Poison Oak Note: Unfortunately there is a small patch of it within two feet of the revised cache location, which is why I have added the "poison plants" attribute. However, that should be very easy to avoid, and there is none directly at GZ. (If you are not sure how to identify poison oak, look here.)

*** IMPORTANT *** This cache has been placed with the express permission of the McDonald Forest Recreation Manager. This area is open from dawn to dusk. This hike is approximately 2.5 miles round-trip, with 600+ feet elevation gain. Sections of the trail may be muddy during winter and spring, so I recommend sturdy shoes or hiking boots. Please refer to the parking waypoint for the best spot to begin your trek. There are trail maps at the kiosk next to the parking area.
