PLEASE REMEMBER TO REHIDE THIS CACHE SO IT IS NOT VISIBLE,
using the ample camo available as denoted by the cache title!
Another cache near this location did disappear and was
archived.
"Memorial Marshgrass" is located in Appleton's Memorial Park and
is one of several new traditional kid-friendly caches being placed
by Sagasu in response to recent comments about the abundance of
puzzle caches in our area and the need to continue to have a
balance of traditional and kid-friendly caches.
This cache is located near the ice "arena" and nearby parking.
The terrain is hard to pinpoint due to the snow piles from plowing
at the time of placement and some elevation changes on the way to
the cache, depending on where you approach from, but it should
average out to about the 2.0 listed.
Difficulty is also about a 2.0 for this cache as it is well
hidden to prevent muggling, which has been an issue with caches
nearby at times in the past. Again, please be sure to use the
natural camouflage on the container and nearby to keep this one as
well hidden as possible.
The container is a small camouflaged screw-top jar with a roll
log and pencil, some new swag for kids, a golden dollar for the
first kid-to-find, some new state commemorative quarters, and a red
jeep travel bug for an older kid at heart.
If you take something, please try to leave something worth finding
for the next visitors, NOT including McDonalds toys and the like.
Congratulations to JimandLinda for the FTF on March 9!
