High Above the Horses Traditional Geocache
Lounging at Walden: It was fun while it lasted. The cache has disappeared. I'm not going to replace it because it wasn't a great cache to begin with...only a way to entice people up to Mt. Chapel. It's definitely a fun urban hike though.

High above Sunset Ranch in Beachwood Canyon.
The cache is just off a horse trail leading up to Mt. Chapel. If you follow the correct path, you’ll snag this cache without any problems. Follow the wrong path and…happy bush-wacking.
Take Beachwood Blvd all the way to the top. Pass the gate to Sunset Ranch. Ample parking just before the Holly Ridge trailhead.
Be sure to grab, “Return to Mt. Chapel Cache” while you’re in the area.
The park is closed from 10:30pm to 5:00 am
All the standard Griffith Park warnings apply: Watch out for humans, rattlesnakes, mountain lions and fluffy bunnies.
