Geocache Description:

Urban Park Micro

Located in JAYCEE Park, in Tempe, AZ, very close to my home!
Listed Park Hours: 6:00 A.M. to Midnight.
Tempe's JAYCEE Park has many amenities for the family geocaching team, the family pooch is welcome on-leash, and there is a dog run facility for off-leash excercise. The park facilities include a sand volleyball court, two basketball courts, and a baseball field, all of which are lighted for night-time play. There are picnic tables with shade ramadas and charcoal grills, a good sized playground area with a 'splash-play' section as well as a separate area for the really small tykes. Nearby is the Tempe Westside Multi-Generational Center of the East Valley Boys & Girls Club-Ladmo Branch, which includes the Ronald E. Pies Gymnasium. The Tempe Police Property Facility is also very near the park.

This park is very popular, and gets lots of visitors, especially in the evening hours. The cache site could be very exposed, or not, depending on what types of activities are in progress. Please use good judgement and stealth tactics as needed to avoid revealing the cache. Although middle-of-the-night cachers will avoid the usual park traffic, the proximity of the Police Property Facility may make midnight cache-hunting by flashlight a risky business!

The cache is hidden in a way similar to some other local caches.
The cache contains only a logsheet and a pencil. There is room for VERY TINY trade items.
