YAAAAAAY!!!! Finally we finished. Picked up the final tonight. MAN was it ever COLD!!! We had to catch this one while we had the chance being that we're heading to Illinois in a few weeks. SO LONG INDIANA! Never thought so many of the places we visited during this challenge even existed and we can't wait to find out what IL has in store. If it's anything like the fun, pain, and expensive gas bills that indiana had to offer us, I'm sure we'll have a blast on that one as well. Thanks for the journey. Our numbers are up on Its not about the numbers. We posted a map in an earlier note we wrote methinks. BUT, we need to head to bed now. If we think of anything else later on or find some good pics to post, we'll come back and edit the log for you all. Again, THANKS FOR THE FINDS UPON FINDS!

#2802 and first Ohio cacher to complete the challenge (from what I can gather via the Found loggers’ profile). I live in Ohio but I am from Indiana. I grew up in Elkhart County (Bristol) and lived in Indiana until 1984. This cache has allowed me to see parts of the state in the last 5 years then I did my first 20 years of my life.This cache was not on my radar until I hit the 50% mark of counties this past June. I was working in Indy and headed up 31 to Elkhart County for my best friend’s 25th wedding anniversary party. I picked up those counties and knew that my trip back to Cincinnati required me to snake back home to pick up my remaining rogue counties on the east side of the state. Once home I basically had all the eastern counties completed. I knew at the time that I had other trip planned throughout the state. My next opportunity was when I had a work assignment in Bloomington in July. I picked up another 10 counties while working in Bloomington. The second trip to Bloomington I picked up more counties but had a Trip planned to see my buddies The Yarddogs in Monticello. I left Bloomington and snaked up the west side of Indiana getting all the six upper west counties. It was Tuesday night and I thought that I would have to leave them but realized my buddies didn’t play until Thursday. I got a hotel room and the next morning I went and picked up those counties and headed to Monticello to go party with The Yarddogs. At the end of the trip I only had the 10 southwestern counties along the Ohio River to complete. I have picked up those counties while on a work assignment in Mt Vernon. The last county I picked up was Posey County. The day I signed the log traveled from Evansville to Indianapolis because I had a meeting in Indianapolis. I guess I have been lucky to travel the state and a lot of the miles have been paid while traveling for work. All in all I probably spent 92 hours completing this cache, don’t know how many miles, approximately 300-400 dollars in gas, and couple hundred dollars in hotel rooms paid out of my pocket. I did receive 1 warning for speeding and ironically it was the trip from Evansville to Indianapolis to sign the final log. Thank for the memories while finding the counties and for the cache idea!!!!!!!!!! TNLNSL

Just finished up the counties on Saturday. Made one last 13 hour/665 mile dash to get the last 21 counties down south before we move out of the state. As soon as we find the final and ItsNotAboutTheNumbers comes back online, we'll log the find!

Ever had one of those days? We complete the 92 counties, find this cache, get my info from geocaching.com, and the itsnotaboutthe numbers web site is down for unknown problems. Hope that is up later so that i can upload my numbers!!!Meanwhile......had a wonderful time on this quest. We started off completing the DNR Spring 2008 quest which took us around the state finding those 24 caches. While doing that on one tour of the south east we seemed to be following Odyssy Posse around so I dropped him an email. He informed me that they were out knocking off some counties in their quest for all 92. We found the info for that and we were hooked. Took us another year to get all the counties finished off although only one over night stand where we stayed in Pokagan to get those far north counties. Of course some took multiple trips. It seems that on 4 different occassions the cache I chose to get was just short of the county line instead of just across it. Of course all 4 counties were spread across the state so it took a lot of gas and a full day to collect them up! Being a native hoosier, although i have spent years living in California, Virginia, and New Jersey as well, I do love this state and all of the beauty in it. Am glad to be back. Thanks for getting me out to see a lot of it I have never seen before!! Numbers will be uploaded as soon as that site returns..... Indy_Mike

What an enjoyable challenge and experience this has been. I was born and raised in Indiana. After 65 years, I had never visited all 92 Counties in this great state of ours...until this year. This Epic 92 Challenge was an excellant way to get out and see the entire state. I think my wife, Guppiebear, says it best (below) so I will not repeat all her words. This challenge was a bunch of one day adventures and three overnight adventures. Planning all the small excursions for this adventure was so much fun. I carried an "Official State Highway Map" with me. As we found a cache in a new County, I colored in that County with an orange marker. Anyway, thanks for a great adventure. We had a ball completing the Epic 92 Challenge. I will up load the required map and notify the owner that our journey is complete. TFTC
