Team Hippo: With regret I'm having to archive this, as my ability to maintain is now beyond me. My huge thanks to the last finders for collecting physical elements on my behalf.

Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the published co-ords. There is no point in trying to get to these co-ords – you will be trespassing! They are for the Royal Mail depot in Upper Hundreds Way, Aylesbury. The cache is within two miles of here.

We've all heard of our National Health being a Postcode Lottery. Well, this cache puts a geocaching spin on the phrase. To find the cache you'll need to use the postcodes in the table below (which despite their diversity are all in Buckinghamshire) to calculate the location of the cache. The lottery part comes in the fact that there are four locations to calculate, only one of which will lead you to the actual cache site. All four sites contain a non-loggable micro of a sort, one with further instructions and three with a short message.

It's up to you to decide where the cache is most likely to be, and in what order to visit the different locations if you're not lucky first (or second, or third) time!

The one true and three dummy locations are all within a two mile radius of the published co-ords. The four walks are of different lengths, and some will get muddy after wet weather. All are on or adjacent to public footpaths, three are near water, and some will involve walking through fields which may contain livestock, so please take the usual precautions with children and dogs (if you meet the enormous black bull with the brass nose ring he is really very friendly and answers to Chumley). For convenience I shall refer to these four locations  as North, South, East and West for reasons which will become obvious when you plot the various locations on whatever mapping software you use.

By all means say how many micros you found before you came across the correct one, but please do not give the slightest indication in your logs where you (eventually!) find the cache. If you do, the log will be deleted. Nor, needless to say, in conversation with other cachers.
