In 2004 cache was updated to any place Tahosa could lay out a map course.
In 2008 Tahosa had to relocate to AZ so the cache was made available for Arizona Cachers if they so desire.
March 2009 this cache was updated again so it could be done in Colorado, its birthplace, with Denali41, a cacher of great renown! And one fine friend if I must say so. So if you're in God's Country (Colorado) contact Denali and have a good day in the hills! And I will be looking forward to the logs that you write.
In 2015 I have returned to Colorado, so now that I'm back in the Mountains, contact me and a day on Crosier can be done.
Coordinates for original event were about 3 miles from the Trail Head, which is located about 8 miles South of Estes Park. Follow trail, go past Sarah's and find a woodstove near the small rock outcropping. There you will start your course with the following WAYPOINTS.
- WS - 40.31007N - 105.44899W
- GH - 40.30999N - 105.45042W
- TM - 40.31156N - 105.45139W
- #1 - 40.31379N - 105.45340W
Now you must find your maps, and from the map find #2, #3 & #4. And the instructions for the map location will be given to you when we find #1.
You will need a UTM roamer scale, and an orienteering compass.
This link will be of some value prior to your quest.
And there is also this site which has lots of good information.
