Greetings One & All
It's been quite a while since anyone has held a meeting in this neck of the woods so I thought I would throw this opportuinty open to any and everyone who can make it on the evening of August 20th from 19:00 onwards.
The meeting will be open to all Geocachers young and old and no matter how many finds you have clocked up we are all just friends at these meetings where we swap war stories and the tales of the ones that we almost got!!!!!!
The venue is spacious with plenty of seating, an outside beer garden AND A BOUNCY CASTLE :-) (For young cachers)
The menu on offer is very reasonably priced and there's free meals for youngsters for each adult meal purchased.
If I have any Quirky Caches made at the time I will bring them along for people to play with and see what I get up to in my shed, these are manufatured by me and similar designs can be found dotted around this area of Berkshire :-)
The other reason for offering this event is to enable local cachers who are trying to achieve the 7 Souvenirs Of August Challenge, by attending this meet you will achieve The Socialiser section of the quest :-)
Finally I will reiterate that "Everyone" is welcome at this meeting if you have never attended one before please feel free to make this your first, I will certainly do my best to meet and greet everyone so you will be certain you're not the strangest person there ;-)
