Geocache Description:

Small plastic tube in Town of Hempstead West Marina in Pt. Lookout.

The West Marina of Pt Lookout, Town of Hempstead LI, NY is a nice little marina where you can launch a small boat, kayak or canoe or rent a slip. There is also a fishing pier. The West marina is open to the public while the East marina just on the other side of the Loop Parkway is for TOH residents. Bring a fishing pole or a beach chair and enjoy the view of the bay, shore birds and cool breezes. When I hid the cache at 4:30 during the week in June it was pretty muggle free but expect it to be crowded on weekends in the summer.
