Twelve Days of Cachemas 2009 Final
Prize Cache
Celebrating the 5th anniversary of
Cachemas. It’s hard to believe that it has been 5 years
since Dustiano grabbed the FTF on the first Cachemas Cache, A Micro
in a Dead Tree, beating then FTF hound RJFerret in his own back
yard. The next 12 days brought the first mini-event and a hotly
contested race for the Final Prize Cache FTF. The years that
followed brought many surprises and highlights with Music and
Videos; Events, and lot’s of stories about the hunt. There was the
miracle find by TourinCT that spurred another to the Grinch side.
There were parallel series and cross-over caches. Over time the
hides got better, the cammo more crafty and the Cachemas Cheer
overflowed. So this year Cachemas celebrates it’s 5th anniversary
by featuring highlights from past seasons mixed with new ideas. We
hope you enjoy the season because it isn’t a few boxes in the woods
that make Cachemas great; it’s great because you play.
In celebration of the holiday season JAMM is again pleased to
present “The 12 Days of Cachemas”, a cache series running from
December 25 to January 5 modeled after a familiar Christmas song.
For each of the 12 days a new cache is released. In addition to the
winter friendly fun each cache contains a clue to the coordinates
for THIS final prize cache where we have placed a special gift for
you.
The “Prize” is a gift from JAMM. There is no need to trade –
enjoy.
To find this cache DON’T GO TO THE POSTED COORDINATES. Instead
find the 12 Cachemas caches, collect the 12 clues and use them to
figure out the final coordinates for this cache. This years clues
will take you back in time to highlights from past years. Enjoy the
romp through Cachemas History.
You will find the final in a gem of a park that you likely have
never been too. It offers beautiful trails and much more. In fact
there is so much to do I recommend you leave yourself time to
explore even if it means giving up the FTF (besides you know who
will probably got it anyway). The park is closed Dusk to Dawn and
this is strictly enforced.
Last 4 years were a blast and we hope that this year will be
