Near The Forgotten Multi-cache

This cache location was inspired by geowyz, and is our first cache. Our gnome from the Elves Twelve cache is still guarding our porch.
Less than 3/4 mile round trip, most of it is easy walking, with bushwacking involved. Water and mud shouldn't be too much of a problem. The area closes at 6:00 in the winter, 8:30 in the summer.
The final cache is a slim ammo can, and includes a camera to take a picture of yourselves (please leave the camera!) Hope you enjoy!
This cache is not as hard as it first seems, both from the calculation standpoint, and from the walking/bushwacking standpoint. Take a deep breath, stay calm, and enjoy the walk in the woods.
The listed coordinates will take you to an object (one the taller, but not tallest, of these objects with the name HUMPHREY) with sets of numbers on it.
The numbers we are interested in is a set of 4 numbers together. Using the uppermost set of 4 numbers (wxyz) in the following substitution to get the coordinates for the second leg :

a = w - 1
b = z + 1
These coordinates will take you to the second leg.
Upon arrival at the calcuated coordinates, you will find another one of the same type. In the surrounding area, there are many of these scattered about. Forgotten? Well not entirely. Since I placed this cache in 2005, the county has posted signage identifying the historical objects. Again, a tall one, but not the tallest; with the name BYARS. Use the uppermost set of 4 numbers (stuv) in the following substitution to find the final cache :

W096 is the same as -096.
To Enter these coordinates using the official Geocaching app (IOS):
- while navigating to the first coordiates in the map mode, press the 3 dots on the top right of the screen
- select Add Waypoint
- change name, latitude, and longitude, and press done
- you will be returned to the map with a flag showing the above newly added waypoint
- Click on the flag, and select set as target
- continue to navigate (using map or compass) to the newly added waypoint
March 2015: I visited the cache on its 10 year anniversary. Here are some interesting differences:
- The most important is the signage placed at the first and second leg - glad these are not forgotten after all.
- What was tallest in 2005 is not tallest anymore - Things sink and/or are being restored.
- The forest is more overgrown, but has also thinned a bunch in the interior - It is ever changing and easier to get through if you don't try to go straight :)
- I remember a specific set of these objects at leg two, that were laying on each other - I could not find them during my 2015 visit. Were they moved? Or did I miss them due to the overgrowth?
- It is now a farther walk. In 2005 there were no trees or pond to walk around when walking on the second leg.
While visiting, I read and documented every log, it was so neat to see the old logs and their comments. Unfortunately the camera went missing before I could retrieve it, but I will replace it, just for grins. One question that I found interesting was : How far is the nearest Buc-ees? In 2005, the nearest Buc-ees was ~44 miles. Now it is 12.
