Geocache Description:

Surebridge Mine was operated by Robert and Peter Parrott. 8 mine openings. Active during the Civil War.

Park at Lake Skannatati. Take Long Path (turquoise) or Arden/Surebridge (red triangle)to Times Square. 500 feet later, those paths turn to the left. Follow the GPS needle straight along woods road (Surebridge Mine Road). Past the main portion of the swamp you will find the mine pits.Upped the terrain difficulty a bit for distance, bugs, and overgrown trails. Watch children and pets around the pits!
