This is an easy cache in the historic part of the village of Hawarden. The recommended parking place is at N53.11.006 W003.01.549.
It is possible to park closer to the cache than the recommended parking place, however, this parking place will take you past some of the interesting things that people don't know are there. Well, we walked here from our house and were quite surprised at all the little bits of history scattered amongst the old architecture.After finding the cache, if you haven't already been that way, it may be interesting to turn right at the main road to have a look along that way.If you are in need for some refreshments, the little cafe and the Fox and Grapes pub both come highly recommended. Unfortunately, as I have already said, because we live within walking distance of here, we have not been in the cafe but I can definately give the thumbs up for the beer! The Glynne does serve Theakston's Old Peculiar, which is the best pint in the world, but as there is a very high probability that you will be driving, it is recommended that you stay away from this particular 'wibble juice'.
