This cache can be reached by paddling to it on Malaga Lake or by a short hike in a Green Acres Site.
Malaga Lake covers 105 acres with an average depth of just five feet and a maximum depth of nine feet. This lake holds a good quantity of small bass. We have spotted many turtles sunning and birds while at the lake.
To make the short hike to this cache you can park in the Green Acres parking area on Malaga Park Drive. There are coordinates posted below for the trailhead. The terrain rating for this cache is based on hiking. If you decide to paddle to it, the terrain would be a five star, although it is an easy paddle.
The cache is a small camouflaged container with a log sheet and a pencil. Although it is not exactly a micro, there really isn’t much room for trade items.
Please, no spoiler photographs or logs (even if encrypted), as it detracts from our intentions for the cache. However, please do feel free to post photos of yourself and your family enjoying the lake.
