I have been looking for a Central Indiana Geocaching Event to qualify for the "Meet Your Road Trip Crew" Souvenir and had seen none pop up at all within a 100 miles until this morning so I decided I would put a Flash Mob together to help cachers earn it. Since I'm putting it together that means I get to select a location that is especially convenient for me. So this one will be held from 1:00PM to 1:30PM, Wednesday August 5th at the Monon Trail 96th St. trailhead. There is ample parking to the East of the coordinates.
Update 7/29/2015: I've been chatting with a few potential attendees about what a Flash Mob is and in giving an explanation I had wished that I had provided a theme for the Flash Mob. And then I further thought since we haven't had the event and it is still a week off, why not add one? It sure would make for a better picture of the Flash Mob so here it is. The theme will be to come ready for a road trip. My suggestions for attire are, sunglasses, beach towel, flip-flops and Hawaiian shirt. Bermuda shorts if you have them, I know I don't so it's all good. Just something to give the picture of the group a bit more pizazz. Don't worry if you can't, just do your best to look like you are headed out on a Road Trip. Feel free to complain or note your pleasure at will in the log below.
