Geocache Description:

This landing is the hardest to find if you aren't aware of it!

I've biked around this lake many times and am amazed at how many landings there are! This series celebrates all the different hidden landings around the lake.

I suggest a bike around the lake to find these landings if the weather is nice! It is a bit over 10 miles if you hit all of the landings.

There are 3 classes of landings:

A - parking and trailer access is available here (what people usually thinkg of as a boat landing)

B - Boat launch - if the gate is open, you may use trailered boats, otherwise, you must carry them in. Gates are closed most, if not all of the time in an attempt to stop the spread on Eurasian Milfoil

C - Carry in sites. They are undeveloped and typically do not allow vehcile access to launch a boat. Small craft may be carried to or from the lake manually. Other amenities such as parking are also limited.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the land manager at the Spooner Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
