Welcome to
Raritan
Bay Water Front Park in
South Amboy.
You can smell the ocean from the country's oldest Railroad Town.
South Amboy was the gateway to Manhattan for thousands of Central
Jersey Travelers in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Travelers
would arrive on the
Camden
& Amboy Railroad, or Raritan River Railroad, and take a
ferry to lower Manhattan. With the introduction of electricity,
coal was brought into South Amboy and electricity was generated for
most of Middlesex county.
Today, ferry service has been restored and South Amboy is again
becoming a gateway to NYC. The city of South Amboy is going through
a bit of a renaissance, so visit the shops on Broadway and enjoy
your walk along Raritan Bay.

The other caches you'll be seeking are:
Each of these caches were placed to show off some of the odd and
interesting places in Central Jersey. Also, the manner in which
each cache is hidden is in some way inspired (or directly ripped
off) of another Central Jersey cache. Thus, you may find this hide
very easy (been there, done that), or you may find yourself pulling
your hair out.
As with all Team Ekitt10 caches, there is no need to kick things
over, rip up the environment, trespass, or do anything dumb or
illegal. Please leave the environment intact while you search, and
if possible, please CITO.
Have fun, and thanks for caching with us!
