captainmath: I've never been happier to archive a cache, since in this case it signals that Gilwell has in fact gotten well! I'm sure that finders of this one will now be working on finding his other new ones, plenty of them devious and all of them creative.

Geocache Description:

On Thanksgiving weekend 2007, while on a geocaching trip with me to the Binghamton area, Barry, aka Gilwell1, fell on some frozen ground in Chenango Falls State Park and severely broke his femur. As of this writing he is still hospitalized, although he's now closer to his home in Middletown, NY. He may be hospitalized until close to Christmas, and he's probably got six months of recovery ahead.

While still in the Binghamton area, a few of the local cachers, including the Geochicks, snail84 and aegis (you gals rock!) and Spider99, came over to visit him and support him in his time of need. Now that he's been transferred back to our area, this cache is placed to let others give some words of support. The cache is an ammo can that is intended to be hidden from muggles but easily located by any geocacher, especially using the hint. It's got plenty of the typical swag and a log book, but it also has a Get Well card for you to sign.

I'm providing two sets of parking coordinates, either of which should be no problem for a single vehicle. Please help me wish Barry all the best in his recovery - sign the log book and the card, and maybe by Summer Barry will be able to get down to retrieve it for himself!
