Pixar Pals
#6 Cars

Cars (2006) shows signs of being yet another mega hit for Pixar. The movie continues the theme of The Incredibles; take time for the things in life that are really important!

Cars was inspired by director John Lassiter's real-life family road trip. He took off on a vacation with his family and followed Route 66. He began thinking of all the towns along the way that people now missed because of our Super Highway System. He imagined a world populated by cars instead of people, and the rest of the story just fell into place.

SPECIAL EXTRA ASSIGNMENT:

Part of the movie takes place along the legendary Route 66.

To honor the history of that road, and to have a little fun, you will also need to make a personalized license plate to add to your log entry. (Go to the link and follow the directions, it's really pretty easy...) You can make a license for any state you like, many of them have different styles! (I had Edna work on mine, and she really got creative! Gotta love that Edna!)

This cache is placed in a location associated with the theme of the movie. It is a very small container, hidden inside a little bit bigger one. Be sure to put it back the way you found it.
