This cache is located on the Deer Creek Trail off Hwy 87 south of Payson. It is well hidden from the trail so that no one can accidentally stumble across it. The terrain is relatively flat and easy traverse.
You will find the contents of this cache interesting. I tried to place a good assortment of items into this one since it is my first cache. The container is a green ammo box 11 inches x 7 inches x 5 1/2 inches, and is air tight. I know this because when I opened it to write the coordinates on the log book I heard a "hiss" of air rush out. The trip from Gilbert to the cache site was a 3000 foot gain in altitude and the higher pressure was trapped inside. This should keep the contents nice and dry.
