What a great cache! As we where camped near by at Killalea state park we had to do this cache, so we set off on the walk up the beach to Gilligans Island & crossed over to the island with not much trouble at all as it was low tide except for Frippy's Misses stepping on a sting ray lucky she had her modified gum boots on. So on we went in search of the goods, searching all over the place for it but then they where spotted and retrieved with out to much pain or injury to the body, after doing our duties it was back off to the main land and on to camp where the cold ones awaited Thanks to The Rats for a great afternoon that was had by all Cheers. PS dropped off a coin and TBug

Awesome! Perfect cache. After reading all the cache logs what more can I say?
We stayed at Killalea for the weekend so this cache was high on the list, actually the only one really. We waited all day for the low to come and this worked out to be perfect, I cant imagine why anybody would attempt this cache at high tide?
Once we worked out the correct route around the island, up over and around, through the darn grass, over the cliff, Bushy found the goods. What a great view thanks.

This was a super cache! We've had our eye on this one for ages now & we were camping nearby at Killalea with the Usat31 team. We approached from Minnamurra beach and the conditions were just perfect; low tide, no swell, and a beautiful warm sunny afternoon. It made the crossing a piece of cake. However, once we returned, the team members that stayed behind told us that we just missed stepping on a stingray - that would have hurt! Then there was the aggressive crab that chased us, and that's not to mention the friendly penguin (as seen in Mr Usat31's log!).
All in all, this was a great experience and the tide was low enough that we managed to walk around the whole island before finding the cache.
Thanks Rats, top cache!
