Where have all the flowers gone? Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Zebra Girl: Very sorry for any inconvenience. This cache was found many miles from it's GZ. It had been stolen by the cowardly cache thief and was left in a different location. I will not be replacing it for the time being. Perhaps in the future if the site is still available.

Geocache Description:

A short, but steep & rocky climb.

I have no idea where this cache is in relation to the trail..I came here three times in as many days and saw no sign of a trail either day due to the snow which (at time of placement) is DEEP. The hill is steep and rocky making the climb even more difficult when you can't see what you are stepping on.

I look forward to returning here in spring to enjoy the area without the snow. The cache is winter friendly as far as the hide goes. The trek to the cache is another story.

I first came here with my snowshoes to seek the cache that is farther up the hill, "Bones & Shovels". I had to come back because I didn't think my coords were accurate enough. On Day Two I used good boots for traction but the climb was still really hard. Then I found out I was a little too close to a puzzle. So, I solved the puzzle and came back on Day Tthree to find the puzzle and move my cache. It had snowed again overnight and Day Three was really difficult. . I plan to move the hide slightly after I see what the immediate area looks like sans snow.

After I had placed the cache and taken readings, I saw some rusty barbed wire about 6 feet from the cache, please be careful.

FTF prize is a Starbucks gift card.
