This cache is located just off HWY 65 at the Harrison Arkansas Visitors Welcome Center in the Ozark Mountains.
This cache was placed with permission of the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism There is a wealth of information available at the center such as maps, event guides, state parks guides, adventure guides, and many other brochures all for free. There is overnight camping available on site, along with plenty of parking and restrooms. The area is kid friendly, but the actual cache site is too rough for strollers or wheelchairs. The actual cache is a unique container thatcontains a log, toys for the kids, a pen, and a Sattelite GC at the time of placement.
Replaced the cache and log on 4 AUG 2009 Please put the log back in the ziplock bag, and replace the lid tightly to prevent the log and cache contents from getting wet. Be sure to watch for muggles! Thanks and enjoy!
