White Mountain trail (3N17) is a favorite of the SoCal 4x4
Geocachers. This trail while very remote, offers up some very steep
and challenging obstacles and rewards you with some spectacular
views. Before this cache was placed, this trail did not have a
single geocache in this area. Look for more caches in this area
soon.
The cache is located at a nice stopping point on the trail and a
great vista point for Lucerne Valley. While not the highest point
on the trail, its definately affords a near 360° view of the area.
The best view is available down to towards Lucernce Valley and
Johnson Valley. You can also see clear over to Victorville and
beyond. We hope you enjoy the view.
