Geocache Description:

Another cache to entice people to come and check out this wonderful Open Space Preserve

This cache is located in the El Corte de Madera Creek Open Space Preserve. This is a great area for both hiking and mountain biking, there are also a number of other caches easily reached along this route. I placed this cache a bit closer to the parking area in order to give folks an enticement to go on to the other caches in the preserve. No bushwacking is required to reach this cache.

The cache is a decon container and at the time of placement it contained the following items -

New unregistered travel bug

New Small Bison Tube

A small yellow Jeep (Not the TB variety)

German Walking Stick Emblem

Compass / Thermometer Zipper Pull

Small Geocaching Stickers

Logbook (There is no pen so please bring your own)

Parking is available at the Skeggs Vista Point parking area located on Skyline Blvd (Highway 35). There is also another cache and a benchmark located near this parking area. The trails are fairly well maintained but can be muddy / slippery at times. Enjoy the cache, enjoy the beautiful area, and have fun !
