This is the tenth in a series of caches, this time highlighting a bit of Santa Clara history. Sometimes, when they change a street name, changing the signs doesn't obliterate ALL traces of the old street name. After you locate the cache, travel a short distance south to the southwest corner of Homestead Rd. and Madison St. and examine the vertical surface of the curb/gutter facing Homestead for the old (and better) name of Homestead Rd. I hope the irony doesn't escape you. The cache contains a log sheet only, bring a writing utensil. Please be sure the cache is put back snugly so it doesn't go missing.
