Geocache Description:

Terrian and difficulty are maxed on this one. Several multi-micros lead to a large traditional. Boat, kayak, or canoe are needed during more temperate months. Cache is filled with SWAG! Gold pirate coins and medals, books, scary hacky sacks, geo-cache wrist bands (lime and desert camo), scary stamps, cars, toys. AND A FTF GEO-COIN!! (you'll even have to SEARCH for that in the final cache container)

As a kid this was my favorite cartoon! Many, countless Saturday mornings were spent watching spookies and ghosts, monsters too get caught by the "gang". I ALWAYS LOVED (and still DO) myseteries....unsolved things... things seen and not explained. The pigglets and I love to snoop around and explore, and while on one of our adventures on Half Moon I thought..."hey... a multi here would be GREAT!" By far the majority if not all the information for the questions below can be found at Wikipedia and this web site, "scoobyaddicts.com". As I put this cache together, I relived a TON of GOOD memories when I was young (calender wise..hahhaa). I hope as you go along getting the answers, you too go back to that time of youth. It was special to me, as I'm sure it will be for others as well. So special in fact, I still haven't "grown up". You will explore, scout several islands in Half Moon. Confronting the unknown and also the KNOWN (ex. Mosquitoes, ticks) The multi's are enclosed in a micro capsule and ARE NOT easy to get too. The final is a large AMMO container. The terrain is nasty at best in places... and agility, balance, a strong heart and stronger arms will prevail to find THE LOST CACHE OF SCOOBY DOO!
Start out at these coords. for launching into the mystery! N 44.47.935. W 089.42.432. This is the location for a boat ramp, at one of many parks in the Mosinee area!

From here, the cords at the top will be your first "mystery" to solve. It will take you to the only "charted" (named) island in Half Moon. PINE ISLAND! Inside this micro, you will find the cords, (no riddle to solve yet on this one), for the 2nd stage. From here on out... anything is possible...do you have the right answers? Can I REACH the cache? IF it's there..HOW will I get to it?? What LURKS on these islands... ?

You will also need to have the following ANSWERS in hand to de-code the next stage once you find it. Patience and curiousity will prevail here...this is the "mental" part of the cache series.

Here are the coded answers YOU will need for the 3RD stage:

A = What year did the series start? Of that year, take the LAST digit- that is A

B = How many ghosts have escaped the gang? (hint: perfect record as I recall, wink)

C = Of the original series of mysteries, there was a ghost that appeared in deep sea diving gear, HOW many letters are in the LAST name of this ghost?

D = When the series started, how OLD was Scooby Doo?

E = How many HUMAN members of the gang are there?

F = What year was the Mystery Machine made? Of that year, take the LAST digit. That is F.

G = How many villians were there in the episode "A Night of Fright is no Delight" ?

Here are questions for the FINAL coded stage, once you find this cache.... witin it's micro confines, you will find the code for the FINAL, FOR SCOOBY'S LOST CACHE OF HALF MOON BAY!

A = Once again, how many "ghosts" get away from the gang?

B = What day did the first episode air? Of this DATE, take the FIRST digit. That is B. (ex. 09/xx/69).

C = The original series "Scooby Doo, Where Are You?" ran for TWO sessions. How many episodes comprised the SECOND season? (HINT: WIKIPEDIA!!)

D = How many letters are in the name of the BREED of dog Scooby Doo is?

E = Find the total number of episodes in the ORIGINAL series run "Scooby Doo, Where Are You?" First digit of that number is E. (HINT: same hint as C)

F = Of the first series of adventures, there was one with an outer space theme (one of my FAVORITES, because it was set at an abandoned airfield...planes...all that neat stuff).. of the title, how many letters are in the LAST name of the episode? (it is also the last name of the ghost)
