Geocache Description:

Welcome to part three of this series. 'Ask Vance' is the book where I found the location idea and Chance Encounter is who lent me the book; hence the name.

The very first Holiday Inn Motel opened in August of 1952 with 120 rooms at 4941 Summer Avenue here in Memphis. Now, a different kind of resting place resides at this location. A sign stands here as a reminder.
