Geocache Description:

Parking for this cache is at Voorhees State Park Office parking lot. The coordinates given are for the information plaques.
All of the information that you need will be found on these 2 plaques. Voorhees State Park is opened from 8:00AM to 4:30PM (winter hours). Less then 528 ft from start. Congrats Bear Mom Scouter for the FTF!

This cache is dedicated to all of the hard working young men who provided such a valuable service to this nation during a time of great need.The Civil Conservation Corps became the largest peace time mobilization in American history.CCC enrollees had to be unmarried, unemployed, male citizens. Enlistment was for 6 months to 2 years in duration. Company 1268 was headquartered in the fledgling Voorhees State Park & helped to develop all of the park roads,trails, bridges, shelters, picnic areas & water fountains.
The company moto was,
"We are the boys of 1268 you have heard so much about;
people stop & talk to us when ever we go out.
We are noted for our decency in everything we do;
every body likes us we hope that you will too."
