Geocache Description:

Another Discover Water bench containing San Jose Water District information is located near here, upper Penitencia Creek.

Upper Penitencia Creek is a major tributary of Coyote Creek, and drains portions of San Jose and unincorporated eastern Santa Clara County land. Although not seen from this location, the district has constructed fish ladders and screens at two locations where creek water is diverted to groundwater recharge ponds providing passage to the upper watershed for endangered steelhead trout.

Cache is a small container, bring your own pen.

No need to go into the creek.
