It's a camo'd decon container reachable from the trail. There's no need to climb anything or to disturb old animal dens.

I sat down on the red-ant-free smooth rock trail and drank [crocodillan helper]. A few hundred feet further on I saw a big uphill and decided to leave that for the next cacher who comes here to place more hides.

Couldn't find this at first, and left it for the way back. Coming down, there it was where you'd expect. How do they do that?

Out for a nice hike up the canyon from where I live. Had the day off from work, so why not enjoy a hike as I get ready for the annual Sierra backpacking trip. A nice little 10 mile hike with 10 cache finds to boot.

Believe me I wanted to be lazy after this one too, especially when I saw the distance to the next cache, but I pushed on from here on up the mountain. TFTC

One of 25 finds during a full day hike - almost 11 miles total. My first time on this trail - was pretty far north at this point. Nice spot for a cache. Thanks for the hide!
