This cache has been archived.

Jarre_fan: Thank you all for coming to our wedding and the flash mob event we had so much fun! Apart from me looking serious at the alter because I was trying to keep it in if you know what I mean, a big thanks for everyone for making our day so special

And we all had a great time dancing away in the evening too, thank you for coming to that too.

Geocache Description:

A Geocaching Flash Mob on the Village Green in Berkswell.  Starts at about 4.45 pm and will finish at 5.15 pm.

We (Walk on the Wildside and Mr Wizz) met through Geocaching.  At his Magical Boxes event July last year, he popped the question, and I said yes.

we decided to do what we saw another caching couple do last year in Nottingham and have a flash mob that coincides with our wedding.

So, if you’re a geocacher and know us, or even a geocacher and don’t know us, why not come to the Village Green for 4.45 pm, which will be after the wedding service finishes.  We’ll come out from St John's Church (where we will now be known as Mr and Mrs Wild Wizzes )and join you on the green for some photos; there will be a logbook to sign (and add messages) as well.  While you’re waiting for us to join you, there is a set of stocks that should keep you entertained!

In the event of poor weather, still meet at the village green (there are trees to shelter under!) and someone will come out of the church to invite you inside; the rector is more than happy for you to join us inside for photos in the dry.

If any of you are bringing confetti (let’s face it, you’re all obsessed with boxes so you probably will be ), please can you make sure it is of the biodegradable sort, and only throw it at us when we’re by the church gate.

After the photos, why not have a go at the two nearby cache series?  Alternatively, use your cachers eye to find somewhere nearby to sit in the warmth and share some geo-anecdotes.

Parking

Although there is a car park very close to the church, it is likely to be full.  Instead, we recommend using the free Top Car Park (given in the waypoints below) that the pub kindly lets churchgoers use on wedding days.
