This cache is on Howard RD, but it is more of a trail, than a road. It hasn't been used as a road for many years.

Nice area to check out Covington Creek. When it is not near flood, there is a place you can walk down to the creek.

This should be a quick easy cache, only about 75 feet from the main road.

After getting some information from the first cachers concerning the neighbors feelings on this cache, I went and talked with the adjacent property owner.
It was determined that the cache was not on their property, but is in fact on county road property.

However, they have had some break ins in the area, and are very nervous about flashlights in the woods behind their place. So out of consideration of the neighbors, please avoid looking after dark if you can.

Find # 1509 - Found on 11/15/2009 at 14:40.

Wet and muddy trail, but I didn't let a little dampness slow me down (too much). Nice hide.

Thanks for the hunt.

This was our first find! Can't wait to find our next. We took the HandBlasters and left an army truck.

When we got to an area we could safely park, we found ourselves at some teens' favorite lunch spot. Since they decided to get off their bikes and have lunch, we decided to join them, but only in spirit. Petronella broke out our lunches and we ate in our truck, waiting for them to leave. Once the coast was clear, the find was fairly easy. Thanks for the quick cache.

Took brass owl
Left brand new keychain and Handblaster toy
