About 6 miles off Highway 6 on Highway 96 in Dry Valley(half way to Scofield Res. from Hwy 6). Terrain is pretty flat but lots of Sage Brush.
The cache is a two gallon bucket. There is a large gravel parking spot a few hundred feet from the cache - you could drive closer but I don't know if it is worth it to be parked on the highway just to save yourself a short walk.
I have been coming to this area for 30 years (my whole life). My grandparents built a cabin here in 1973 and I have been coming regularly since then. Now I am bringing my kids and it has become a favorite place for them just as it is for me. The day we hid this cache we actually had all 4 generations at the cabin. It was great! This is the place where my love for the outdoors developed and grew.
