VM and LS got together and placed a cache in this stunning little park. Thanks for the location, LS.
Note that there is a fee for this park...$3.00 daily or $20 annually with reduced rates for seniors. The small park building that issues the permits may only be manned on weekends or during warmer months because I have been there several times without fees.
While placing stage two we witnessed a bald eagle flying low across the Huron River.
All intermediate stages are 4"x4"x2" black plastic 35mm microfilm containers (NOT 35mm camera film containers). The final stage is a large (about 1.5 gallon), clear, plastic pretzel jar with lots of goodies in it. If people are so inclined, the film containers can be used to trade small items and travel bugs. I hope everybody enjoys the cache and area...keep an eye out for that bald eagle.
