First meeting of the CMGA
Ok everyone, the event/meet is on for the first Central Montana Geocaching Association (CMGA) meeting. The date has been locked in for the 8th of October at 6:00 PM. Location is the Sting, who has allowed us to have our gathering at no cost, and we are not required to eat, so we have no commitments other then showing up. N47 29.542 W111. 17.925
The only thing I can see for now is a need for a secretary to take notes... If your that person drop me an email. Otherwise Beeverboy will be our acting president until the fist of the year. His original user name was Greg & Max and he is one of the first geocachers in Great Falls. He also has the oldest continuously active cache in Great Falls, at West Bank Park (GCH5BN), placed 10-31-03. I have found him a very easy person to work with and was very excited to have him volunteer. Now we just need to step up, be counted, and get organized.
As for me I would like to continue the Lewis and Clark Event newsletter as needed, and put out a CMGA newsletter, possible a monthly edition. But even that needs your help, and I just know there are stories and pictures your all just dieing to share, and I am willing help you share them.
So.... We hope to see you all at the meeting....
