This cache is located on the island at Vega State Park. A park pass is required for this cache.
This cache is a fairly short walk from the parking lot. There is a swing set nearby for the kids to play on. Please do not remove the entire container from hiding spot, just the lid. Tweezers may be helpful in removing the log. Bring your own pen. It may be difficult to get to this cache location in deep snow, but cache should still be accessible if you can get there. You should be able to snow shoe or cross country ski to it in the winter time. During the summer and fall, deer come down onto the island to graze and drink from the lake. We received permission from Park Service and DOW (since they have merged) to place this cache. Congratulations to Rojo464 for FTF!
