Geocache Description:


Meijiza

Meijiza is a palace of the kabuki and the new school from the Meiji era.

It boasts of the history and the tradition during the Meiji era, Taishou era, the Showa era, and the Heisei era for 130 years or more after the doors is opened in 1873(1873). The new work of a new rice field of the new rice field construction was centered after the war and a present management company was established at prewar days though Shochiku Co., Ltd. managed.
It has been arriving basically by the four-walls contract now at the following.

明治座

明治座は明治時代からの歌舞伎・新派の殿堂です。

1873年（明治6年）に開場して以来、明治・大正・昭和・平成にわたる130年以上の歴史と伝統を誇る。戦前は松竹が経営しましたが、戦後、新田建設の新田新作が中心となり現在の運営会社を設立しました。
以降、基本的に自主興行で現在に至っています。
