An easy hike along Georgetown’s Bonner Trail near San Gabriel park and an easy hide.
a.k.a “Parking Tickets 101 - How to Find a Legal Parking Spot” This cache is only 25 feet off the Georgetown’s San Gabriel Hike and Bike trail and only 35 feet from the road. The catch is there’s no street parking. There’s also no curb on the street, so this location presents a great temptation to pull off on the grass and make it a park and grab. Avoid the temptation! Park at 30 38.832 - 097 40.328. Enjoy the nice ½ mile hike and use the money you’ll save to support your GPS habit!
a.k.a “Recycled Plastic”. The rubbermaid box holding his cache has been used in at least 2 and probably 3 Georgetown caches. It was used in our very first Cache that was muggled 4 years ago, it was used in two other caches but retired and replaced with ammo cans. So we hope that the box will have a nice long life in its new incarnation.
