Geocache Description:

A cache to celebrate Boulder's bears...

This find is intended for cachers who are already somewhat familiar with the Boulder area. Or clever ones who aren't.

The cache is not at the given coordinates, but is nearby, within 500 feet. The given location will guide you to a good place to park, final is easily accessible by bike or foot from there.

Very simply, the cache lies:

A) on a bearing of 107.82 degrees from the bear tree sculpture (Photo 2) on the west side of Broadway north of the NB Rec Center;

B) on a bearing of 16.40 degrees from the flagpole at Bear Creek Elementary (Photo 3);

C) on a bearing of 30.22 degrees from cache GCGDTZ on the summit of Bear Peak (Photo 4).

You can use any 2 or all 3 of these to find the cache, or if you have a lot of time on your hands, just pick 1 (and pack a lunch).

Mini-nano cache is NOT on the ground; it is right out in the open, yet well concealed. No magnets are involved, but metal is.

Be careful with passing muggles. Do NOT access from highway. Use caution if you walk in the tunnel.
