Bobcat Coin Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This should be a quick hike and find for just about everybody!! This is intended as a GeoCoin exchange so please only take what you can replace.

This cache is part of science project for a 6th grader at Bible Baptist School. Her science class has learned about alot of different things during the past few months, including satellites that beam information back to earth.

Her theory is that just about anybody with a GPS can be led to another location but not everyone will find what they seek.

During her research for this project she reviewed other caches in the general vicinity to determine the "Smiley Success Rate" for each one and the overall "Smiley Success Rate". She found that there was a wide range of success, depending on the difficulty and terrain of each cache. Average success overall was about 76% based on 154 cachers looking for 5 different caches. Pretty straight forward information.

She has added a twist to this cache.....making it a GeoCoin Exchange. It will start with 13 different GeoCoins with different goals to see if that will motivate more people to visit her cache than if it was just a "normal" cache, thereby increasing the "Smiley Success Rate".

You will be looking for a Pot-O-Coins that will hold as many coins as you want it to. Please rehide this treasure better than you found it. You won't need much stealth once you get to GZ but may need a little on the way in. This cache will be findable with snow on the ground unless the snow is 24" deep, then your outta luck!!
