Geocache Description:

This cache was updated on March 28, 2020. Please note, at this point due to the convid-19 pandemic, the playground is closed. Be safe, everyone.

This is a family friendly multi. You can even bribe the kiddos with a promise to play in the playground once you've found the cache! It is meant to be a walk and you can get a couple of regular caches along the way to the first set of coordinates. You may want to wear boots to find this cache if it's been raining. The path can be muddy. The listed coordinates are for the first part of this three part multi. The first and second stages are in clear tubes (no need to open them) and the final cache is regular size ammo container. None of the hides are very hard, but you do need to practice some stealth. Once you park at the parking area, head to the waterfront to find the path that you should follow. It's to the left, near the water. Enjoy the view of the Capitol Building, the Kennebec River and other historic buildings on the AMHI property and the arsenal. You pass the Kennebec Arsenal, but stay on the path.
