Basha Kill Rail Trail
I know where I want you to go and what I want you to see so “Walk this Way” and be guided by me. This is a two part multi with the one-way total distance of about a mile. The first part is written on the bottom of a rock at the base of the lookout and the second part is an ammo can. Take the side trail loop to the listed co-ordinates. On your way back to the main trail don't miss the "Pet Cemetery". Please be courteous to the bird watchers.
Suggested parking is off Haven Road. The access road is full of pot holes. Sometimes I just park on the side of Haven Road. This seems to be acceptable parking as well. To get to Haven Road, take Rte 211 to County Route 61. Take a right onto No. Orchard Rd\South Rd. (It is marked with both names.)Take a left onto Haven Road. Parking area is on the right.
