Jednoduchá příměstská tradiční cache dostupná pěšky, na kole, i automobilem z blízkého parkoviště (z P1 - 5 min. chůze). Krabička je vhodná i pro výměnu rmenších předmětů

Tato keš vás zavede k novému městskému hřbitovu v Kolíně. Tento ústřední hřbitov byl založen na severním okraji města roku 1882. Zmíněný letopočet je uveden i na hřbitovním kříži (R2) v centru hřbitova. Od svého založení je nový hřbitov hlavním pohřebištěm v Kolíně.

Mezi náhrobky vyniká zejména pomník padlým z 1. světové války z roku 1923 (R3), který podle návrhu Václava Weinzettela vystavěl kolínský sochař Rudolf Šašma  a sochou „Žal“ doplnil Václav Suchomel.



 
Mezi další válečné hroby patří: válečný hrob padlým ve 2. světové válce (R7), válečný hrob obětem 2. světové války (R8), pomník odboje námořníků.

Další zajímavost je i hrobka rodiny Bubnových ze zač. 20. století, kterou původně zdobil bronzový reliéf od Jana Štursy (odcizen byl bohužel v 90. letech 20. století).

Zajímavými hroby jsou i hrobka rodiny Kmochových z roku 1912 (R4), kde je pohřben kolínský kapelník František Kmoch, jeho žena a dvě ze tří dcer, a nedaleká hrobka rodiny Pernerových z roku 1887 (R5) v podobě pseudogotického glorietu. Obě hrobky jsou situovány při jižní hřbitovní stěně.




Nedaleko centrálního kříže je hrob rodiny Koudelkových z roku 1886 s pomníkem v podobě pseudogotických božích muk (R9).

Tento kolínský hřbitov je i místem posledního odpočinku významných osobností:
Spisovatelů: Karla Legera (R6), Františka Procházky (Franta Župan), Rudolfa Vlasáka, Václava Davídka, Ivana Bureše, PhDr. Otakara Palána, PhDr. Otakara Štorcha Mariena,
Hudebníků: Františka Kmocha, Aloise Vlasáka, Josefa Krištofa Wintera,
Fotografů: Jaromíra Funkeho, Josefa Sudka,
Malířů: Rudolfa Mazucha, Františka Víta Blažka,
a mnoha dalších významných osobností.
 
Návštěva hřbitova není pro odlovení keše povinná. Keš je uložena mimo areál hřbitova a je přístupná nezávisle na otevírací době hřbitova.

Pokud se však rozhodnete hřbitov navštívit, tak vchod na hřbitov je z ulice Hřbitovní (R1). 


DER NEUE STÄDTISCHE FRIEDHOF IN KOLÍN


Dieser Cache führt Sie zu dem neuen städtischen Friedhof in Kolín. Dieser Zentralfriedhof wurde im Jahre 1882 am nördlich Stadtrand eingerichtet. Der Hinweis auf das Jahr 1882 findet sich auch an dem Kreuz im Zentrum des Friedhofes. Seit seiner Gründung ist der neue Friedhof die wichtigste Bestattungsstelle in Kolín.

Zwischen den Grabmälern ragt vor allem das Monument für die Gefallenenen des 1. Weltkrieges aus dem Jahre 1923 hervor, das nach dem Entwurf von Václav Weinzettel von dem Bildhauer Rudolf Šašma erbaut wurde. Die Statue „ Žal" wurde ebenfalls von Václav Suchomel erschaffen.

Zu den weiteren Kriegsgräbern gehören:

Der Kriegsgrab der Gefallen des 2. Weltkrieges, das Kriegsgrab der Opfer des 2. Weltkrieges.

Eine weitere Sehenswürdigkeit ist auch die Grabstätte der der Familie Bubnova vom Anfang des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts, die ursprünglich mit einem Bronzerelief von Jan Štursa dekoriert war (es wurde leider in den 90er Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts entwendet).

Interessante Gräber sind auch die Grabstätte der Familie Kmochova aus dem Jahre 1912, wo der Kapellmeister František Kmoch, seine Frau und zwei von drei Tochter begraben sind, und die unweite gelegene Gruft der Familie Pernerova aus dem Jahre 1887 in Anlehnung an den pseudogotischen Gartenpavillon. Die Beiden Gruften sind bei der südlich Friedhofmauer gelegen.

Unweit von dem centralen Friedhofskreuz ist das Grab der Familie Koudelkova aus dem Jahre 1886 mit dem Grabmal Anlehnung an die pseudogotische Martersäule.

Dieser Kolin Friedhof ist auch die letzte Ruhestätte folgender, bedeutender Persönlichkeiten:

und viele weiterer bedeutender Persönlichkeiten .

Der Besuch des Friedhofes ist für die Suche des Caches nicht erforderlich, denn der Cache befindet sich abseits des Friedhofes im Wald. Der Cache selbst ist unabhängig von der Öffnungszeit des Friedhofes zugänglich.


NEW CITY CEMETERY IN KOLÍNĚ


This cache will introduce you to the new city cemetery of Kolín. This central cemetery was found on the northern fringe of this town in the year 1882. The year 1882 is also mentioned on a graveyard cross in the centre of the cemetery. After its foundation this cemetery is the major burying - place in the city Kolín.

Among gravestones protrudes the monument dedicated to victims of 1. World war from the year 1923, according to design of Vaclav Weinzettel, which was built by sculptor Rudolf Šašma together with the statue „ sorrow" which was completed by Vaclav Suchomel.

Another point of interest is the crypt of family Bubnova from the 20. century, initially decorated by a bronze relief from Jan Štursa ( the relief was unfortunately stolen in the 1990s ). Among other interesting graves is a crypt of the family Kmoch from the year 1912, where Kolin chapel - master František Kmoch, his wife and two of the three daughters are buried, and nearby a crypt of the family Pernerova from the year 1887 in form of pseudo - Gothic gloriet. Both crypts are situated at the southern graveyard wall.

A short distance away from the central graveyard cross is the grave of the family Koudelka from the year 1886 with monument in form pseudo - Gothic Calvary situated.

This cemetery is also a burial place of significant celebrities:

A visit of the cemetery isn't obligatory for capturing the cache because the cache is placed outside the area of the cemetery in the nearby wood. This wood is open to public independently to the opening hours of the cemetery.
