Der Sattelpass (Pfäffikon<->Schwyz oder Arth) wird seit Jahrhunderten begangen. Als einer der Zubringer zum Gotthardpass und damit zur europäischen Nord-Südroute ist er auch heute noch von grosser Bedeutung. Eine breit ausgebaute Strasse führt dich über die weite Passhöhe wo du bei Rotenturm durch eines der bedeutendsten Hochmoorgebiete der Schweiz fährst. Besonders schön ist die Aussicht im Norden mit Blick auf den Zürichsee und im Süden mit Blick auf den kleine Lauerzersee.
Es muss kein Bahntrasse überschritten werden!

Sattelpass is an important part of the European north-south route. Some km’s southwards it links to the Gotthard route. You will enjoy the nicest views in the north of it (Lake of Zurich) and in the south (small Lauerzersee/Lake and mountains). The hide is at about two meters on the tree.
You mustn't step on the rails of the railway!
